CMA investigation into consumer refunds

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched an investigation into reports of businesses failing to comply with consumers' cancellation rights during the coronavirus pandemic.

The investigation will focus on the weddings and private events, holiday accommodation and childcare sectors but will be expanded to other sectors if necessary.
